Lee Evans, the British stand up comedian, is planning to stage the largest live comedy performance ever seen in the UK.
A total of 300,000 tickets will be available for the Lee Evans - Big - UK Tour 2008, which will include the first comedy concert to be performed at London's Millennium Dome, now called the O2 Arena.
The O2 Arena has a capacity of 20,000 and is almost twice the number Lee Evan's previous largest performance, at the Manchester Evening News Arena in 2005. Evans is set to perform two nights at the O2 Arena and will become the first comedian to play at the Arena.

Lee Evans has been a British comedian for many years and won the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival in 1993.
He has since gone on to great success in both stand-up comedy and also appeared in numerous TV comedy shows. In recent years he has also starred in several movies, including Funny Bones and There's Something About Mary.
