Never Mind the Buzzcocks host Simon Amstell is set to tour in the second half of 2009 – with live dates ranging from August until November – with his own stand-up comedy show.
According to his website, the Do Nothing tour starts with shows in Edinburgh between the 14th and 30th August.
Amstel then departs on a 35 date standup tour, covering about 30 venues around the UK and Ireland, finishing in London at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, in November.

Simon Amstell has been a writer and a host for TV shows. He is perhaps best known as a television presenter and his career includes Popworld and the pop trivia program Never Mind the Buzzcocks (which he inherited from previous host Mark Lamarr). His previous stand-up comedy career includes appearances at the Brighton Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
