New series of Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned
The ad-hoc improvised UK TV comedy talk show, hosted by Frank Skinner and David Baddiel, is set to return for its fifth season.
Starting on the 12th of June, Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned will carry on where the old series left off, with the two British comedians making it up as they go along, prompted by a live studio audience.
Comedy actor David Jason knighted
Only Fools and Horses star, David Jason, is one of a number of British comedians who has been honoured in the Queen's birthday honours list. The television comedy actor will now be referred to as Sir David Jason.
David Jason acted as Derek Trotter in the TV comedy, Only Fools and Horses and also appeared in a number of other roles including Open All Hours and, more recently, the police drama Frost.
Simpsons to be made into a movie
Rumours abound that hit animated comedy, The Simpsons, is to be made into a full length movie. Nancy Cartwright, who does the voice of Bart Simpson let the cat out of the bag on BBC Radio One recently. However, very little else is being revealed and the movie may still take some time before it is completed.
