British Comedians is a series of photographs of British comics from 1960. Comedy Online presents a series of pictures by the photographer Andy Hollingworth. These range from well known 'mainstream' comics, to less well known stand-ups.

The photographs range from famous standup comics such as Jasper Carrot, Frank Carson, Hale and Pace and Ken Dodd, through to the new breed of alternative comedians such as Bill Bailey, Steve Coogan and Rik Mayall.
