His laid back, surreal brand of comedy is always a hit and he is a regular at Jongleurs and London's Comedy Store

Why did you become a comedian?
Not too sure - I'd wanted to for bloody ages, finally plucked up enough courage. I get bored easily but with comedy that never happens.
Favourite comedy venue
Mostly, without wanting to sound pretentious, it's the audience that makes a gig. 30 people that are up for a good laugh can be more fun than 300 that couldn't give a shit. However, the venues that seem to be pretty much 100% superbness are The Comedy Store, Balham Banana and the Meccano.
Favourite comedians
Laural and Hardy, Chaplin, Monty Python and Eddie Izzard.
First gig, what was it like?
Marvellous. After about a minute I forgot all my material and then busked it for the next three or four. It was a stormer and I remember thinking as I walked off "This is it. I've found my baby."
Biggest on-stage cock-up?
Doing a gig completely pissed. It was a small pub gig and I was meant to do 10 minutes but did 25 and was completely shite. So much so that people complained. I'd never drunk booze before going on prior to this and I've never done it since. Highly unrecommended.
Imaginary best comedy line-up? (i.e. famous people who are NOT comedians but should be)
Prince Charles as MC to see how he'd cope with talking to members of the general public who were off their tits. Mary Whitehouse opening to see if she resorts to doing filth and the Pope headlining in 17 different languages.
Plans for the future?
Lots more gigs, Edinburgh show in August - Attic, Pleasance at 9.30pm (plug), more gigs, more Edinburghs and other international festivals, T.V, more gigs, and some movies. Not necessarily in that order.
Why did the chicken cross the road?
